The Center

The Compass Community Center is a 14,000 sq.ft. building located in Downtown Lake Worth. It serves as a meeting place for the community and provides a safe place for LGBTQ people and their allies.

Health Services

Compass has provided a safe space for HIV testing services to all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. If you, or a loved one, is in need of health services, please feel free to contact us.

Youth Services

Compass provides a safe space for LGBTQ youth in Palm Beach County. At Compass, our youth and their allies engage in social support, community service, cultural activities, and leadership opportunities.

World AIDS Day and the AIDS Memorial Quilt

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. The largest piece of folk art in the world that honors the lives of those whom we have lost to HIV/AIDS.

Compass is honored to be hosting 35 panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt, displayed at the Center and with some of our community partners.

Join us on December 1 at 6 pm for our annual Opening Ceremonies that will include speakers, a proclamation, and an opening of our Quilt display.

Compass' 35th Anniversary Celebration at Stonewall Ball

Compass is celebrating it's 35th anniversary as an organization and we are going to party together at the Stonewall Ball!!!

This year's theme is "Back to Our Future". Prior to the last several years, our community had made tremendous progress. 50+ years of fighting for our rights had made the future for LGBTQ+ people bright. As the hateful political rhetoric and laws limiting our rights are passing all over the United States, we are focusing on getting BACK TO THE FUTURE for which we fought so hard!

As always the evening promises great company, delicious food and drinks, a fabulous silent auction, live entertainment, an awards ceremony, and much more!
